  • Build bridges 🌉

As a small business looking to make an impact 💥 you want to build bridges🌉.

And I mean build bridges like…all the time. This is related to the importance of partnering up I talked about a while back.

Don´t worry too much about where they lead to. Nobody says you have to cross them…

Bridges give you options♦️♠️♥️♣️. Bridges allow for 2-way traffic.

The building itself is a process that enriches you.

When you build, you learn. When you build together, you learn exponentially more.

If you wonder if aside from business there is a political angle to my statement. Rest assured, there absolutely is😎.

Build bridges, not walls.* (Dr. Martin Luther King)

*and if the wall is built, dig a tunnel while you prepare to tear it down

  • growth partners 🤝: 3 criteria for meta-value

    FB2AE1BC-5A18-4EE0-9B39-1804091B06A3.jpg

As a small business looking for BIG impact I have learnt over the years to work with growth partners 🤝.

They bring much more to the table than you see on the surface. I call it meta-value***.

We have overhauled our partners over the last few years according to the following criteria:

    • growth 🚀 >>> growth businesses have fuel and energy, it also pushes them to come up with their better self.
    • innovation 👩🏼‍🔬 >>> this is a mindset – innovators see what can be instead of what is.
    • loyalty 🙏🏻 >>> growthhacking is only possible when ideas flow freely and there is mutual trust to promote risk-taking.

Making this choice is harder than first perceived. Often the obvious is.

Because it involves saying no to many, and asking yes from a few.

If you agree, don´t just nod.

Do or do not, there is no try….* Master Yoda

    *** more on meta-value soon.

  • Why should we wait? The kung fu way 🥋

    7 AM. Waking up. 😴

Lizzard brain 🛌 vs Thunderlizzard desire to make an impact 💥.

Created a Jedi habit that helps. Use the Force. Us the 🧡 love for music 🎵…so does the lazy lizzard brain …press ▶️play.

Bruce Lee kung fu 🥋 move because todays song track is already selected and puts the lizzard brain on the back foot. Great move. Behaviour is heavily influenced by context. So create the context 😎.

Some straight to the heart blues 🎸 to get me on track. Shit to do, stuff to make happen. Forward motion 🚀.

Why should we wait until tomorrow what we can do today? You know what to do. No one is going to see you through. It is all up to you.

    Waiting ain´t no use.

Why should we wait until tomorrow what we can do today? It ain´t no use to put off that thing, that´s gonna happen anyway…

    Another fuckin´ beautiful day*

Hell yeah. Be legendary, every day.

And if you can do it 🕺🏼dancing, even better.

*Why should we wait, Soapstone, Jedi masters of laid back blues

Friends & partners: the foundation of success
    June 2018.
Feels like we are on a roll(ercoaster) 🎢 at Genesis Technologies. We are bubbling 🍾 with energy and buzzing with activity.
We have had our tough moments. Our setbacks. Crisis. We made our mistakes.
But we also have had some wins 🏁. Scored a few decisive goals . On occasion hit a bullseye 🎯.
The art of winning. Like a team.
And now, now it seems like a rocket 🚀 taking off. Not just us, but also our loyal partners. It feels like a snowball getting bigger and catching speed.
Like riding a friendly dragon 🐉.
    Energizing. Exciting. Empowering.
And all because together we make simple 🔵 what once was complex 🍝. Hide what is ugly. Promote co-creating instead of competition.
We are happy campers ⛺️ at Genesis Technologies. And I simply thought you should know.
    Be well, be you.
  • like riding a bicycle 🚲

Running a business is like riding a bicycle 🚲. You learn by doing, not by reading the manual.

    Hands on the steering wheel.

    Look forward.

    Pedal firmly and with strength.

    Shift gears when needed.

And above all: you quickly learn that speed gives you stability.
