The Work
What I build, and who I build it with.
I build B2B businesses by putting people and technology together. Never direct to consumer. Always through partners.
Genesis Home Technology Architects
Premium home technology, distributed across Europe through the professionals who install it.
We do not sell boxes to homeowners. We back the integrators who turn a house into a home that works, with the brands, the training, and the support behind them. Their reputation is the product. Ours is what stands behind it.
Part of that is the VIP Lounges, where a client can hear it, see it and feel it before anyone signs anything. Experience first. The specification comes after.
The other part is PartnerZone, the digital workspace those
partners work in. System design, tech support, project management, product
information, the pipeline and the invoicing, in one place instead of scattered
across email and phone calls.
It is built for the people who do the work: certified installers, architects,
home promoters, and the brands we carry. A partner should be able to get
on with the job without waiting for us to pick up the phone.
Origin Acoustics EMEA
Proof that the model travels.
The question was whether a brand from outside our own house could use our people, our infrastructure and our relationships to grow, without carrying the risk itself. Two years in, the answer is yes, and it has grown every year.
It started as Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It now ships beyond them. It is the first thing we built outside Genesis HTA, and it is the reason I know the next one will work.
My Supply Solutions
The backbone everything else runs on.
Fulfilment. The order, the stock, the systems behind it, and the moment it arrives at the door. Unglamorous, and the reason everything shows up when it said it would.
We do not own the building and we do not own the code. We own the way it is put together, and the knowing how to build it again somewhere else. Fulfilment is where promises are either kept or quietly broken, and most companies find that out too late.
Master Yoda Enterprises
The holding company all of it sits under.
Each business is a Camel. Self-financed, profitable, built to outlast a bad year. None of them needs someone else’s money to survive the winter, and that is the point.
I am the architect and the owner, not the man in the weeds. If a business only works while I am in the room, I have not built a business. I have built a job.
The thread
It is the same in all of them. Trust compounds. Relationships outlast transactions.
People assume the good partnerships began as friendships. Mostly it was the other way round. They began with something given before anything was owed, and they held because four things were true at the same time: trust, benefit on both sides, a long view, and virtues nobody had to argue about.
You give, something comes back, and neither is invoiced. The friendships came later. So did the success. Both were outputs, never the aim, and that is not a strategy I can put on a slide.
