Small businesses with a BIG impact

You are an entrepreneur or work at a small business and determined to make an impact💥. That requires doing things you – and maybe nobody – has ever done before. R-I-S-K. Good. Expose yourself.
But you do not want to be the lone rider, the kid on the playground without friends,… You can survive alone, but you cannot grow 🚀 or be truly successful all on your own.
Partner up 🤝. Determine who you are, why you do what you do and find like-minded people. Don´t take anyone. Be picky but partner up.
You will have to work on the partnership. But when you do it will be worth it for all involved. Also your customers.
PS: and if it does not work out – be straight and fold. No drama.

One thing I don´t deal in is “if I had only…” to talk about what could have been.
Things that could have been do not matter. It is vapourware. The only dreams that can become real are the ones out there in the future. The ones you try to achieve.
As a small business looking for a BIG impact I know that “if I had only…” is a loosing mindset.
the 💪🏻winning mindset is:
I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can´t accept not trying. (M. Jordan🏀)
Do or do not, there is no try. (Master Yoda 🌟)
The world rewards people who get stuff done. As Jobs said it: “True artists ship”…
So launch yourself out of bed like a rocket 🚀 and act, do, make, build.

Many decide to make a profit first, then invest in training, people, facilities, promotion, customer service and at last start doing important work.
But reality often shows to flip things around as follows…
So what is your experience with getting the order ⓵②③…right? How do you stage the growth of your business?

Back in the early 2000’s I was working for Barco Cinema division in China. A unique experience and years later I value greatly what I learned.
In 12 months we landed a multi-million dollar💰 contract that laid the foundation for dominant market share for Barco in ditigal cinema in China.
Working in a start-up venture inside a big company was both challenging and very rewarding. I highly recommend everyone to grab such opportunities when offered the chance. #offthebeatentrack #buildingabusiness.
Following this adventure I moved to Barco’s home cinema division which was the start of my journey in the smarthome and private cinema market…

Do you look back and value past experiences? And how do you connect the dots into the future?
*More on co-creation in a future post.
